Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument Posters

Welcome to Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument
Posters

The U.S. Forest Service has been trying to make a bigger push to connect to the community around Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument. They decided to not only send staff to local events to table but to also try to engage the public with citizen science activities and competitions. The posters advertised these outreach efforts with bright colors to create a more modern feel and to allow the posters to stand out from other art.

Client: U.S. Forest Service, Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument
The U.S. Forest Service manages the land around Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument for recreation, habitat restoration, and preservation of the historical and cultural importance of the area around the active volcano. The eruption in 1980 devastated and changed the natural and cultural landscape on a massive scale and provided important information that would lead to geologic discoveries.
