I was given the text for this rack card and a purple broom handle as inspiration for the color. While the deep purple isn’t a usual color for spring events, I paired it with a golden yellow for contrast and tone. Leaf shapes were arranged to mimic snowflakes and flowers to play off the seasonal theme.

TreePeople is a local Los Angeles non-profit that used the power of trees to transform the city and the people who live there. They see the urban forest as being vital to the city’s wellbeing and host informative workshops and lead tree plantings.
